Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accountancy & Finance (B.com (AF)), is an undergraduate degree course offered by Maniben Nanavati Women’s, affiliated with SNDT Women’s University. The college is received Best College Award in 2018-19. The course’s goal is to introduce students to various accounting systems, such as cost accounting, Management Accounting, financial management, Taxation, Auditing etc.

Our professors’ comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance is what makes our college a good choice for a BAF course in Mumbai. The BAF department is well-equipped with ICT-based learning, which helps students grasp what they are studying. Collaborative learning along with industrial visits, Internship are a part of the course curriculum because of which we are most preferred among other BAF colleges in Mumbai. We believe that practical comprehension is just as essential as theoretical knowledge, which is why we have guest lecturers from diverse industry experts and extracurricular programs like “BIZZBASH” for entrepreneurship development, where students learn the practicalities of Accounts & Finance.

We offer various skill development courses like Chetana, MOOC and advanced Excel with GST and many more. In addition, we have a dedicated industry tour every year to enterprises such as BSE, NSE, CA firms, Navneet Publications, Sundaram, Camlin, & Others.

Our institute’s post-graduate department of commerce provides an M.com. In Advance Accountancy & Human Resource Management Course, which is another distinction of our college. The curriculum is aimed to enhance students’ long-term development and prepare them for employment in the industry. All of the degree courses and diploma courses are accessible for enrollment at our Women’s College through the completion of an Online Admission form available on the SNDT University website.

The Department of BAF commenced from the academic year 2022-23. It offers a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with specialization in Accountancy & Finance to prepare the learners to be ready for the ever-changing requirements of the employment sectors, be it trade, commerce, Accounts, Finance, Banking, manufacturing units, FMCG and others.
