FREEDOM is a precious gift of our freedom fighter.”Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘’ means the ‘’elixir of the energy of freedom’’. The Amrit Mahotsav of freedom is the nector of the energy of freedom. The nector festival of freedom means the nector of new ideas, new resolutions, and the nector of self-reliance. We have scholars like Gargi and Maitrayee from the Vedic period but in many parts of India, womenare unable to move freely. The nation itself is conceptualized as feminine .She is Bharatmata. Are we free while travelling to and from school, college and workplace? Social norms may also limit women’s mobility, equality and education. It is difficult for women to learn leadership skills if they can not move freely in society. We have to find our solution to obstacles. We need to break the shackles of ignorance.

Girls if you want to grow and successful then you need to be educated .We must be able to see a human being as a human being. Yours is such formative and the most impressionable age which offers a tremendous potential for achieving the national goal .No more are women just in the medical field and teaching, they are now joining the forces as a soldier, a fighter pilot and command posting in the army. So Nector of life in true sense will be when many more women battalions who will inspire, women to be strong , confident and take care of themselves along with securing nation.

India has long been recognized as a cradle of ancient knowledge, with a civilization that dates back thousands of years. The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is a profound and holistic approach to learning that encompasses various fields — from philosophy, science, and mathematics to medicine, art, and sustainable living. Rooted in texts like the Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas, are practiced through disciplines such as Ayurveda, Yoga, and classical arts. This system reflects a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of life.

The essence of IKS lies in its emphasis on balance — between body and mind, nature and humanity, tradition and innovation. It teaches us to seek knowledge not just for utility but for wisdom, self-awareness and the betterment of society.

Today, as we face global challenges like climate change, mental health crises, and ethical dilemmas in technology, the principles of IKS are more relevant than ever. Sustainable agriculture practices, holistic health systems, and value-based education are just a few areas where Indian knowledge continues to inspire modern solutions.

As educators and learners, it is our responsibility to revive and integrate this vast treasure of indigenous wisdom into our curriculum and research. By doing so, we not only preserve our heritage but also enrich global knowledge with perspectives that are inclusive, time-tested, and deeply humanistic.
